What happened

On October 2, gunfire outside Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota during a homecoming football game against Minnetonka injured two teenagers, ages 17 and 18, and prompted evacuation of the stadium. Police later identified the alleged shooter as 18-year-old Adam Abdihakeem Adam of St. Louis Park, who was arrested without incident on October 8 near Highway 55 and Penn Avenue in Minneapolis. Charging documents described in local reporting allege that a fight involving about 10 people broke out after two cars entered a parking lot, and that Adam got out of his brother’s car, opened fire, and fled; investigators cited phone tracking and clothing recovered from his home that they said matched surveillance video. He was charged with two felony counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon. Hennepin County jail records show a $100,000 bail or bond option without conditions; Adam posted bond and was released at 7:04 p.m. on October 10, with a court appearance set for the following Monday.
Sourcing check · Fully on the record · 4 articles

4 of 4 articles cite a named source for the story. It was on the record from the first report.

What these terms mean and how they're counted
On the record · names a source 4 of 4
On the record means the article cites a source by name for the story's main claim: a person, or an institution speaking officially, such as a company statement or a named agency's spokesperson. The opposite is an unnamed source. The count is how many of the counted articles cite at least one such source; the names are everyone named across them, each once however the articles spell it. Here: Hennepin County jail, Eden Prairie police, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Hennepin County jail records, White House and Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher
Primary evidence · cites a document or data 1 of 4
Primary evidence means the article cites a record you could check yourself: a court filing or ruling, a dataset or report, a recording or transcript, an official statement or press release, market data. A quote is not a document. The count is how many articles cite one. Here: jail records, charging documents, police statements
Credits another outlet 0 of 4
The article says the story comes from another outlet's reporting (“first reported by Reuters”). Those articles relay the story; they are not independent confirmation. Here: Each article presents its own reporting.
Unnamed sources 0 of 4
The main claim is attributed to people who are not identified: “people familiar with the matter”, “officials said”. The count is how many articles do this.
How it developed
When the first report landed and whether it named anyone; when the first named source and the first document appeared. Here: First report Oct 11, 23:25 UTC by Fox News, naming its source. First document 7 hours later, from New York Post (jail records).

BLINDSPOT. Only right-leaning outlets are covering this story — the other side's media is silent.
Omitted — what each side leaves out

Unpacked

The story itself is missing from left-leaning coverage. Right-leaning outlets report that the teenager accused of shooting two people at a Minnesota homecoming game was released on bond Saturday. Fox News says that happened two days after his arrest under a no-condition option. Jail records put the figure at $100,000. A reader of the silent side would not know the accused shooter is already free. Right-leaning outlets also split on how wide to draw the frame. The wider version includes a Bloomington chief's remark about gang members in luxury cars and a sheriff's blast at the county attorney. Daily Wire carries that layer, which Fox News does not. Fox News keeps the focus on the arrest, the bond paperwork, and a Senate candidate's warning that residents feel under threat. Did prosecutors ask the court to hold him, and what record produced a no-condition bond?
Bottom line

Left-leaning readers have not been told that the Eden Prairie homecoming shooting suspect is already free. Fox News reported he posted a $100,000 no-condition bond two days after arrest.

The Right View
Fox News, the New York Post, The Daily Wire, and Breitbart all report the same core sequence: the October 2 parking-lot shooting, Adam’s October 8 arrest, the listed felony charges, and his October 10 release on a $100,000 no-condition bond, citing Hennepin County jail records and charging documents as described by FOX 9 Minneapolis. They frame the release as a bail-and-crime flashpoint. Fox and the Post highlight criticism from President Trump’s Rapid Response 47 account, which called the judge a “Radical Left” jurist and tied the shooting to rival Somali gangs; they also quote Republican Senate candidate Michele Tafoya saying law enforcement is describing the violence as Somali gang-related. The Daily Wire adds regional gang context (including comments from Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges and Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher) and criticism of Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty. Breitbart emphasizes the short time from alleged shooting to release and notes reporting that the wounded teens were known to police. Eden Prairie Police Chief Matt Sackett is quoted praising the multi-agency arrest; police said the investigation remains open and they have not linked a separate October 5 shots-fired call at a Speedway to this case.
Our Take (balanced)
The story is substantive on process facts: a named 18-year-old defendant, specific charges, named agencies, dated arrest and release, and jail records showing a $100,000 unconditioned bond. What is established is the shooting and injuries at the October 2 homecoming game, Adam’s arrest and charging, and his documented release two days after arrest. What remains alleged is that he was the shooter, the fight-and-flight narrative in the charges, phone and clothing matches, and any gang affiliation; those rest on police and charging-document claims, not on a trial verdict. No left-leaning outlet has reported this. Watch next for Monday’s court appearance, any motion to add conditions or revoke bond, the charging documents and bond order themselves, and whether prosecutors announce further arrests as Chief Sackett said remained possible.
