Privacy
The short version: we collect almost nothing, and nothing we collect is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, the time you signed up, the page you signed up from, and a hashed (not raw) form of your IP address — kept as evidence that you actually asked for the emails. That's the whole record. Unsubscribing takes one click and is honored immediately.
If you just read the site: we run Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool that counts pageviews without tracking you across sites, fingerprinting your device, or storing anything on it. We see aggregate numbers ("this story was read 400 times"), never individual browsing histories.
No advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, no cookies requiring a consent banner, no accounts, no profiles.
Where it lives, and your rights
Subscriber records are stored in Google Cloud (Firestore). Emails are delivered by Resend. Analytics are processed by Plausible in the EU. None of these providers may use your data for their own purposes.
To have your data deleted, unsubscribe — or reply to any digest email and ask, and we'll remove the record entirely. Replies to the digest go to a real, read inbox.
