What happened

Rapper Macklemore (Benjamin Haggerty) was removed from Ed Sheeran’s U.S. stadium tour after using opening-act sets to say “Free Palestine” and perform his song “Hind’s Hall.” Promoter Messina Touring Group said multiple venues would not host the tour with Macklemore on the lineup and that he was dropped after discussions with stakeholders. Macklemore said New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, whose company owns Gillette Stadium, barred him from that venue and urged other owners to do the same; Sheeran called the removal the promoter’s decision. Dearborn, Michigan, Mayor Abdullah Hammoud then posted that Macklemore was “always welcome in Dearborn,” offering a free city-sponsored concert and adding, “We stand with you and for a free Palestine.” As of the cited reports, Macklemore had not publicly accepted the offer.

What these terms mean and how they're counted
On the record · names a source 3 of 3
On the record means the article cites a source by name for the story's main claim: a person, or an institution speaking officially, such as a company statement or a named agency's spokesperson. The opposite is an unnamed source. The count is how many of the counted articles cite at least one such source; the names are everyone named across them, each once however the articles spell it. Here: Abdullah Hammoud, Macklemore, Messina Touring Group, Abdullah H. Hammoud, Anti-Defamation League and Israeli-American Council
Primary evidence · cites a document or data 0 of 3
Primary evidence means the article cites a record you could check yourself: a court filing or ruling, a dataset or report, a recording or transcript, an official statement or press release, market data. A quote is not a document. The count is how many articles cite one. Here: None cited.
Credits another outlet 0 of 3
The article says the story comes from another outlet's reporting (“first reported by Reuters”). Those articles relay the story; they are not independent confirmation. Here: Each article presents its own reporting.
Unnamed sources 0 of 3
The main claim is attributed to people who are not identified: “people familiar with the matter”, “officials said”. The count is how many articles do this.

Unpacked

Right-leaning coverage reports that Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud invited Macklemore to a free concert sponsored by the city after the rapper was dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour over anti-Israel remarks on stage. Hammoud's welcome and his closing line that "We stand with you and for a free Palestine" appear in Daily Wire and Breitbart. The right-leaning accounts disagree on backstory and on whether a show is booked. Macklemore had not answered the offer as of Tuesday, a point only Breitbart records. Macklemore received a city proclamation on an earlier Dearborn visit, a detail only Daily Wire includes. Left-leaning coverage has not reported the invitation at all, so a reader there would not know a U.S. mayor offered municipal sponsorship to an artist just removed from a national stadium tour. Has Dearborn set a date or a budget for the concert?
Bottom line

Left-leaning outlets have not reported Dearborn Mayor Hammoud's offer of a city-sponsored Macklemore concert after the Sheeran-tour drop, a story Daily Wire and Breitbart both carried.

The Right View
The Daily Wire, Breitbart, and One America News reported Hammoud’s social-media invitation as a city-backed platform for Macklemore after the tour drop. They described Dearborn as Arab-majority or a “Muslim enclave,” quoted Hammoud’s “free Palestine” line, and treated Macklemore’s on-stage remarks and “Hind’s Hall” as anti-Israel activism. They relayed Macklemore’s claim that Kraft orchestrated venue pressure and Messina’s confirmation that venues objected. Daily Wire noted Macklemore’s earlier Dearborn visit, a city proclamation, and an American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee award. OAN additionally cited a 2014 costume the ADL linked to antisemitic caricature, said critics accuse Macklemore of echoing propaganda tied to U.S.-designated terrorist groups, and framed the offer as taxpayer-funded solidarity after Jewish groups and venue owners pushed back.
Our Take (balanced)
The story is substantive on its core facts: named people and institutions, a public mayoral post, and a promoter statement that venues refused Macklemore on the bill. Established: the tour removal as confirmed by Messina; Hammoud’s invitation and “free Palestine” language; Macklemore’s on-stage political remarks. Still alleged or unverified in these accounts: that Kraft personally rallied other stadium owners; that a concert is formally authorized or funded; and labels such as antisemitic, “enclave,” or improper use of city money, which are characterizations rather than documented findings. No left-leaning outlet has reported this. Watch for a Macklemore reply, a Dearborn council or budget action, statements from Kraft, Messina, or Sheeran, and any venue or city records that confirm why the tour changed and whether a concert is actually scheduled or paid for.
